The supply chain is basically everything that happens in the middle between the most initial raw material and the customer who receives the finished product. The chain includes people, organizations, information, resources and processes, all of which must work in a coordinated, orderly and efficient manner to ensure the creation of the value required for the customer at the end of the process. This value can be reflected in the quality of the product, its delivery speed, its availability, post-purchase service and meeting customer expectations both absolutely and in relation to competitors. Since these are different bodies and people involved in the process, the different processes that take place between them and the information that passes between them, it is very important to manage things in an efficient and orderly manner and this is actually the essence of supply chain management.
